There are a couple of modules in Prestashop (it may appear also in WordPress) that can cause errors on your cPanel system and as a result you see a core dump file in your Prestashop admin directory (or root). This is essentially highlight a php conflict.
The quick fix for this is to put a blank “php.ini” file in the folder the core files appear in. This will stop them occuring.
1. Go to your cPanel file manager
2. Go to the folder where your core.XY files appear. You can delete those core files.
3. Create a new file called “php.ini” (leave it blank)
